Kamala Harris recently found herself in familiar territory: playing the “race card” in her political theater. This time around, it comes packaged with yet another controversy that raises eyebrows and questions about her handling of serious issues. The latest spectacle involves a deranged former construction worker who, armed and dangerous, allegedly stalked Donald Trump while the ex-president enjoyed a round of golf. Predictably, the Secret Service sprang into action, taking swift and decisive measures when one eagle-eyed agent spotted the gun barrel. This individual, identified as Ryan Routh, had previously demonstrated his loyalty to Kamala Harris by attending her campaign rallies and funneling his bucks into Democratic campaigns. What a surprise! Yet, mainstream media, in their typical fashion, are pointing fingers at Trump—claiming it’s his fiery rhetoric that’s stirred this pot of chaos.

Schweizer aptly likens this narrative to someone saying, “I committed violence because my wife had it coming,” which is just absurd. Under normal circumstances, society doesn’t accept blaming the victim for the perpetrator’s actions, yet here we are, and the liberal media is lapping it up like kittens with cream.
Schweizer further challenges Harris’s credibility, recalling her penchant for peddling false narratives. A noteworthy example is her rush to judgment in the Jussie Smollett incident, where she cited a “modern-day lynching” at the hands of Trump supporters—before the truth emerged that it was an elaborate hoax orchestrated by Smollett himself. Speaking of elated miscalculations, Harris also hastily attributed school bomb threats in Springfield to Trump, despite the governor discovering that the threats were bogus, originating from overseas.
To add fuel to the fire, memory lane takes a spotlight on Harris’s exaggerated tales regarding Haitian immigrants, notably her claims about Border Patrol agents abusing migrants—claims that were debunked faster than a bad joke. Instead of tackling the real issues plaguing the country, such as the unprecedented surge of illegal immigration during the Biden administration, the discussions continually devolve into petty squabbling over misleading narratives. The heartbreaking truth is that this distraction ultimately serves to ignore the larger problems at hand.
Illegal immigration impacts more than just border control; it extends deeply into electoral integrity. Many states that have issued driver’s licenses to non-citizens all too easily allow these individuals to register to vote, with the onus on them to self-disclose their citizenship status. This has forced numerous states to audit their voter rolls, uncovering thousands of non-citizens casting ballots, all while Harris and her Democratic allies are pushing against laws designed to safeguard the vote. As Schweizer mentions, the parents of legal immigrants understand that only citizens should have a voice in government. Recent actions in states like Virginia and Texas reflect this call to action, removing thousands of ineligible voters. Yet, this crucial endeavor faces stark opposition thanks to Democrats who are determined to stall reform efforts.
While Harris may revel in the chaos of scandal, real Americans are wise to the smoke and mirrors. Instead of addressing the root issues harming our nation, she prefers to cloak her agenda in exaggerated tales and race baiting. Meanwhile, the clock ticks down on real threats like immigration and electoral integrity that threaten the very foundation of American democracy. The American people deserve sobering discussions around these pivotal issues, rather than the latest round of political theater.
