Ken Paxton Demands Biden Admin Verify Voter Citizenship In Texas

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is taking a stand against the apparent madness brewing in U.S. elections by demanding that the Biden administration pull back the curtain on nearly half a million registered voters in Texas whose citizenship status has never been verified. In a letter to Ur Jaddou, the head of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Paxton is calling for the release of information on approximately 454,300 Texans, all in the name of preserving the sanctity of the voting process.

Apparently, while the law says non-citizens shouldn’t be voting, the federal regulations seem to flip the script, allowing these individuals to register unlawfully. Paxton pointed out that prompting states to verify citizenship before voting is a “common sense” measure, and argues that the current laws do nothing but confuse the matter, especially given the ongoing chaos at the southern border. The Attorney General’s determination to uphold voter integrity suggests he has had enough of bureaucratic loopholes that allow for potential election fraud.

The driving force behind Paxton’s latest initiative stems from a troubling audit by the Texas Secretary of State, which revealed that over 1,300 non-citizens had found their way onto the voter rolls in just four Texas counties. One can only wonder how many others lurk unnoticed in the shadows of the electoral system. Despite the high probability that the vast majority of individuals on Paxton’s list are indeed U.S. citizens, he rightfully emphasizes that no Texan should have to question the legitimacy of their fellow voters.

To add to the circus, many individuals on the list of those with unverified citizenship status apparently did not use state identification like a driver’s license to register. Thus, their credentials remained a mystery, driving home the point that while they might have the legal ability to get a license, it doesn’t mean they should be casting ballots. Paxton has given the federal agency until October 17 to comply, proving that he isn’t just whistling Dixie—he’s expecting action.

This isn’t just a Texas issue, either. Paxton’s move is part of a broader nationwide trend aimed at clamping down on potential non-citizen voter participation, as highlighted by a recent lawsuit in Arizona aiming to compel officials to reveal the names of 200,000 registered voters who couldn’t prove their citizenship. It seems that across the country, conservatives are waking up to the reality that election integrity is a matter of national concern, and they won’t be rolling over quietly while questionable practices remain unchecked.
