It was refreshing to see a straight shooter like Kevin O’Leary rip apart the leftist talking points on election integrity. While the media and their buddies on cable TV keep pretending that the SAVE Act is some scary idea, O’Leary laid out a simple truth: every real country solved this problem decades ago. France, Canada, Switzerland, Australia—the list goes on. These nations all make sure that only citizens vote in their elections. They all require proof. No one acts confused about who belongs in the voting booth.
But here in America, the land of common sense, liberals act like it’s a crime to ask for basic rules. The left shrieks about “voter suppression” while openly fighting safeguards that would keep our elections for Americans only. How is it controversial to demand you prove you’re a citizen before casting a ballot? Most Americans would agree it just makes sense. You need ID to cash a check, buy a beer, or get on a plane—but not to vote for the leader of the free world? Give us a break.

Let’s talk about the so-called “statistical” argument from these panelists. The liberal media claims that illegal voting is just a tiny problem. They point to a handful of cases, treat it as irrelevant, then accuse anyone demanding tougher standards of being paranoid or “anti-immigrant.” But here’s the reality: just one illegal vote dilutes the vote of a legal citizen. Just one. That’s not democracy—that’s cheating. No country with self-respect tolerates even the chance for stolen elections. Liberals want to act after the fact, cleaning up the mess when it’s too late. Real leaders plug the holes before the boat sinks.
The left will do anything to distract from their own failings at the ballot box. When their radical agenda falls flat and voters reject them, they screech about “threats to democracy,” while refusing to do the bare minimum to protect that same democracy. Why do they fight citizenship checks so viciously? Who benefits from sloppier rolls and weaker rules? It’s not hardworking Americans—it’s globalists and ideologues who want to water down our voice.
The SAVE Act is a common-sense step any real country would take. Clean the voter rolls. Ask for proof. Give Americans the confidence that their voice actually matters. If the rules are crystal clear and enforced everywhere, there’s no room for doubt, speculation, or bad actors. But the left wants confusion. They thrive in the gray area, then blame Republicans for low trust and shaky results.
At the end of the day, it’s really simple—if you’re not a citizen, you don’t belong in the voting booth. Any other opinion is anti-American, plain and simple. Why are Democrats so scared of making sure only Americans decide America’s future? Maybe they’re worried the only way their agenda wins is if the rules stay broken.
