Kirby Claims Biden Tough on Iran as MacCallum Questions Sanctions Lift

Oh, boy, folks! Get ready to dive into the latest news about President Joe Biden and Iran. So, John Kirby, the White House National Security Communications Advisor, went on Fox News Sunday to chat about Biden’s stance on Iran. Now, Kirby’s out here saying, “Oh yeah, Biden’s been real tough on Iran, no doubt about it.” But hold on a second, because Martha MacCallum wasn’t about to let that go without a challenge.

She pointed out that, sure, Biden added some new sanctions, but let’s not forget he’s also lifted some of the old ones. And then, Kirby started bragging about how the U.S. helped shoot down a bunch of Iranian missiles meant for Israel. I mean, he’s really patting himself on the back for that one. But c’mon, folks, let’s call a spade a spade. The missiles got shot down because President Biden knew they were coming and was prepared for them. It’s not like he was out there catching them with a baseball glove or something.

Now, after this whole ordeal, the U.S., along with the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, all jumped in to help shoot down some drones during the attack. Kirby was quick to condemn the whole thing, as you’d expect. But man, oh man, the drama keeps on coming with these guys across the pond. Will there ever be a peaceful day in international politics? Only time will tell, folks.
