It seems that Democrats have found themselves in a tizzy over something that should be as uncontroversial as the service of our military. The outrage from some progressive figures is baffling. Do they really believe that the men and women risking their lives for our freedom should be denied a decent meal? The answer should be a resounding “no.” These brave individuals deserve every bit of comfort and morale boost that a good meal can provide.
Conservatives recognize that serving in a combat zone is no picnic. Soldiers often endure harsh conditions, subsisting on meals ready to eat (MREs) for weeks or months at a time.
