It appears that the most prominent left-leaning organizations and their deep-pocketed backers have united once more in an effort to undermine the Supreme Court. Evidently, they are enraged over a case that has the potential to reign in the administrative state and which they perceive as an anti-democratic "power grab by the MAGA supermajority." Please allow us a pause!

United for Democracy, the name of this coalition, consists of more than a hundred left-leaning organizations. Prominent organizations such as NARAL Pro-Choice America, Planned Parenthood, March for Our Lives, and the National Education Association are among the typical suspects. Earlier this year, these organizations launched a one-million-dollar advertising campaign to warn electors about the "extreme right-wing justices" who sit on the Supreme Court and to urge them to support court reform. They genuinely do not desire for anyone to question their agenda.
Thus, what exactly is this case about? It pertains to small fishing enterprises that are complying with an agency regulation that imposes a payment of approximately 20% of their earnings to on-board observers who are federally mandated. It seems to be a relatively uncomplicated matter, correct? However, United for Democracy and their allies disagree. These cases are being portrayed as an attempt to seize power by the right wing and as a "threat to democracy." Indeed, safeguarding the interests of modest enterprises is an abhorrent endeavor.
Nonetheless, why are these left-wing organizations so enraged over this case? It is quite straightforward. They desire that unelected and unaccountable administrative agencies be permitted to carry out their duties without opposition. They relish the authority that Chevron deference grants federal agencies—the ability to construe legislation in a manner that furthers their own political objectives. Everyone, that is not how our democracy is meant to function.
Furthermore, these left-leaning organizations were compelled to discuss abortion. They contend that this case involves a struggle for the rights of abortion. They assert that the "anti-abortion justices" are attempting to expand the policy-making authority of the judiciary. Please allow us a pause! Has the Supreme Court already revoked our most intimate healthcare decisions? When we last checked, they were merely safeguarding the rights of the fetus.
It is abundantly evident that United for Democracy and their allies are undermining the Supreme Court in order to advance their own agenda. "Captured Court" and "Relentless power grab" are catchy slogans they are employing in an effort to terrify the American people. However, we will not be purchasing it. Their slander and attempts to portray themselves as the victims are evident. The time has come for the left to cease their game-playing and begin to uphold the rule of law.
