This blatant act of hatred sparked outrage around the world, with many condemning Andersen’s actions.

But instead of showing remorse for her antisemitic behavior, Andersen defended herself in an interview with a Norwegian broadcaster. She claimed that her sign was not targeting Jewish people, but rather the Israeli government. However, it’s important to note that the Israeli government is largely comprised of individuals who identify as Jewish. So, by attacking the Israeli government, Andersen is indirectly attacking Jews.
