But hold your horses—according to leaders like Jaylani Hussein from the Minnesota chapter of CAIR, these very fraudsters are being wrongfully victimized. The message being pushed here? Criminals should be pitied, and accountability should be an afterthought. Classic liberal logic.
It’s laughable to see how quickly the liberal media latches onto stories condemning systemic racism but conveniently ignores who actually orchestrates these schemes. Their perpetual strategy? Use identity politics to shield wrongdoers from due critique. Instead of focusing on how millions of taxpayer dollars were pilfered, they flip the narrative, painting an entire community as the defenseless victim. On the flip side, President Trump, always the straight shooter, has rightly highlighted the troubles that stem from unchecked immigration and fraudulent behaviors. The truth isn’t pretty, but it’s undeniable: many in the Somali community disproportionately rely on welfare while contributing less in taxes. The so-called “victims” here are reaping more benefits than they sow, to say the least. Yet, liberals will have you believe they’re being unjustly targeted. Just another day in the land of leftist lunacy.
While the likes of Hussein attempt to rationalize this scandal, they are overlooking hard truths. If this scandal affected the Somali community, it was only because they were the core actors in it. The real victims are the hardworking Americans who find themselves funding the welfare state with their own money, only to see it pillaged by fraudsters. How generous of the globalists and left-wing activists to define “victims.”
It’s about time liberals embrace some good old-fashioned American values: personal responsibility, accountability, and integrity. Instead of coddling fraudsters, let’s rally around policies that prioritize and protect hardworking citizens.
