You’ll hear endless lectures from liberal mayors and their friends in the media about “investing in the community.” But where does the money actually go? In New York, politicians are demanding a jaw-dropping $127 billion budget. That’s not a typo. How do you explain all that spending when the streets feel less safe, and families are fleeing? Maybe lining the pockets of political cronies is more important to city leaders than actually fixing real problems.

For years, leftist strongholds like these two cities have served as warning signs of what happens when you let globalist, anti-American ideologies take control. Crime explodes. Taxes skyrocket. The political elite always find a way to protect themselves from the consequences, while regular Americans pay the price—literally and figuratively.
So why are Democratic leaders still allowed to run these cities into the ground without accountability?
