It never fails. Another day, another slap from the liberal judicial system preventing President Trump from exercising lawful executive authority. This time, Trump’s aim was to clean house at the Federal Reserve by firing Governor Lisa Cook—an individual facing scrutiny for alleged mortgage fraud. But in the usual liberal fashion, a Biden-appointee judge jumped in to block this action, prioritizing bureaucratic stubbornness over accountability.
Why is someone under investigation for mortgage fraud wielding power over our nation’s financial policies? Judge Jia Cobb seems to think we should be okay with it. She granted a temporary restraining order, shielding Cook from Trump’s decision. This is the absurdity of the left at work: protecting its own despite the obvious red flags.

Trump took action after Federal Housing Finance Agency’s Bill Pulte shed light on Cook’s possible fraudulent maneuvers concerning her properties. Yet, here comes a liberal judge telling us that Cook’s independence at the Fed is more important than addressing potentially criminal behavior. It’s another obvious play from the left’s rulebook; obstruct Trump, defend their pawns, and call it justice.
Expect this circus to roll forward until it hits the Supreme Court. Despite obstacles thrown at every turn, SCOTUS has been a beacon of hope. They’re bound to unravel this judicial overreach and restore some sanity to the White House’s efforts to drain the swamp. Whether Cook will be able to participate in any major decisions impacting every American family is a gross indicator of misplaced priorities.
Why do leftists time and again stand in the way of America First policies? Is it incompetence? Hypocrisy? Maybe it’s both. One thing is for sure; the message from this is clear: when the left is cornered, they’ll bend the rules in favor of protecting the status quo, even if it means keeping compromised individuals in positions of power. How long will Americans tolerate this kind of madness?
