Liberal LA Times Crumbles: Massive Cuts as Bias Backfires!

The failing, far-left Los Angeles Times recently made the grand announcement that it would be cutting 115 jobs and reducing its staff by more than 20%. This 142-year-old disgraceful institution is finally starting to crack under the weight of its own bias and incompetence.

According to the Los Angeles Times itself, this move comes as the paper faces yet another year of massive losses. It’s like watching a sinking ship desperately tossing off ballast, but it’s only a matter of time before the whole thing goes under.

The paper’s owner, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, admitted that they’ve been hemorrhaging $30 to $40 million each year without making any progress towards building a bigger readership or attracting advertising and subscriptions. That’s a whole lot of cash to burn through just to produce a newspaper smaller than an Applebee’s menu.

Soon-Shiong expressed his disappointment that the newsroom guild didn’t come up with a plan to save jobs. But let’s be real here – it’s not like these layoffs came out of nowhere. The union refused to budge on their demand that seniority should trump merit when it comes to layoffs. So, it’s no surprise that the old, overpaid deadwood staff gets to stay while the inexperienced, left-wing wokesters get the boot.

This isn’t even the first time the Los Angeles Times has resorted to layoffs. Just last year, they slashed 13% of their staff. 13% last year, 20% this year – that’s about a third of the staff gone. At this rate, there might not be anyone left to report on their own downfall.

It’s hard to feel sorry for a newspaper that’s so intent on pushing its biased agenda and churning out fake news. The corporate media is just pure evil, and seeing them struggle like this feels like poetic justice. It’s like watching karma in action.
