The latest creation from the liberal media concerning President Donald J. Trump is nothing short of a melodramatic spectacle; they’re accusing him of establishing a state-run media operation. Apparently, the White House Correspondents Association is being cut off at the knees, or at least no longer getting the VIP treatment it used to enjoy. The once-coveted prime seating for the most stridently anti-Trump outlets is taking a nosedive. While these outlets whine in unison, one truth stands clear: they cannot complain about access. The Trump administration has proven to be the most transparent presidency in years, if not in the entire history of the office.
Behind-the-scenes footage of events involving the president and his willingness to field questions from even the most undeserving media sources paint a clear picture. Trump’s commitment to transparency is on full display. He remains unchallenged when it comes to answering questions from journalists, including those from the infamous “fake news” brigade he openly despises. In fact, during the first month of his second term, he took an impressive 1,009 questions from the press. In comparison, Joe Biden struggled to manage a mere 141 queries — an astonishing display that highlights the former president’s dominance in the question-and-answer arena.
To put it in context, previous inhabitants of the Oval Office have scarcely managed to keep up with Trump’s marathon press engagement. Barack Obama could only muster 161 inquiries in his first month back in 2009. The last time Trump faced reporters during his first term in 2017, he handled just 199 questions over the same span of time. Clearly, the “state media” narrative the left keeps pushing is crumbling under the weight of facts — it’s hard to be a propaganda machine when you’re taking questions with this level of frequency.

The president’s relentless answering of questions deflates the so-called “Kremlinization” narrative that is being touted by those same media outlets. The notion that Trump is somehow trying to control the press is laughable when he is demonstrating an openness that has been virtually nonexistent in modern presidencies. With the press pool adjusted to reflect a more balanced representation, it appears that all the whinging from the liberal contingent may be little more than sour grapes.
Trump’s deft maneuvering has led to a significant blow to his opponents within the media and beyond. By continuing to answer difficult questions and keeping the lines of communication wide open, he is repeatedly proving that he has the upper hand in the ongoing battle with a media establishment eager to undermine him. The liberal media’s latest antics may have ignited outrage on their end, but they’re about as effective as a paper umbrella in a downpour when it comes to silencing the Trump narrative.
