The recent passing of Pope Francis triggers a seismic wave of opinion, and the liberal elites are dancing on his grave like vultures hovering over prey. Francis, known for an unorthodox run as the first Jesuit pope, spent more time talking about climate change and immigration than he did reaffirming Christian values. And yet, the left-leaning media is salivating, wishfully hoping he had done more to secularize a faith grounded in millennia-old teachings.
Francis ruffled more feathers than a rooster on a caffeine binge, moving away from traditional Christian doctrines. His cozy dealings with environmentalism and cozying up to globalist agendas got him labeled as “liberal.” But let’s not pretend the flock he aimed to shepherd didn’t stray under his watch. He seemed more a politician than a pontiff, eager to change Catholicism’s longstanding views on marriage, women, and sexuality.

In typical fashion, the mainstream press avoided mentioning Christianity or the Gospel when reporting his death. Not a peep about God or eternal truths. They view the Church as a tool to further their leftist agendas—an institution to morph into a sanctuary for secularism rather than salvation. Highlighting worldly aims over spiritual truths tells you all you need to know about their perverted aspirations.
True Christians are faced with the challenge of staying anchored amidst a storm of political opportunism veiling itself as reform. The Church’s core mission is preaching the unalterable Gospel of Jesus Christ, yet left-wing media wanted Francis to rewrite the sacred playbook to fit their ever-changing narrative. They didn’t give a second thought to what the Bible actually teaches. Ignoring this has opened a Pandora’s box of confusion among believers.
Pope Francis may have vacillated on certain doctrines, trying to please progressive ideologies, but a pontiff’s duty is to protect foundational beliefs, not bend to fit political whims. The Church is sacred, meant for upholding divine truth, not molding youth into secular pawns. Isn’t it time we called out this liberal play for what it is—a misinterpretation or even corruption of faith?
