America’s bold political landscape has once again shown its colors as Secretary of State Marco Rubio stood his ground against the liberal media’s relentless questioning. NBC’s Kristen Welker, a representative of the mainstream media’s never-ending quest to undermine the Trump administration, found herself on the losing end of a heated discussion. It was about the need for congressional approval of military actions in Venezuela, and Rubio set the record straight.
The media loves to spin narratives, and when they can’t find one, they make one up. The operation in Venezuela, a necessary action that captured dictator Nicolás Maduro, exemplifies this. Rubio made it clear this was no invasion. Instead, it was a tactical and quick operation, demonstrating America’s strength and strategic prowess. Bringing in Congress wasn’t just unnecessary; it was a potential threat to the mission and those involved.

Rubio highlighted the delicate nature of such military operations. Leaks, which Washington and the liberal media are infamous for, could have derailed the entire mission. But that’s hard for the media to understand when their priority is generating scandal, not preserving American lives or completing critical missions successfully.
While Democrats froth at the mouth, claiming improper procedure, they conveniently forget that similar actions were taken by past presidents, Democrat and Republican alike. The only difference now is that the man in charge is Donald Trump, and their disdain for him blinds them from seeing reason or precedent.
With Trump at the helm, America is taking decisive action to stabilize Venezuela. The left, with their globalist interests, might scream imperialism, but the truth is America is extending a hand to rebuild a devastated nation. And that begs the question: when will the Democrats stop whining and start recognizing leadership when they see it?
