Globalist interests, massive federal departments, and power-hungry lawmakers have been writing new ways to boss Americans around while hiding the details inside thousands of pages of nonsense. It’s the very definition of government run wild. This was never what the Founders intended.
When there are up to 8,000 federal rules and statutes out there, it’s impossible for anyone with a job and a family to keep track. Washington insiders love to talk about “justice” and “fairness”—meanwhile, they’ve trapped honest citizens in a spider web of red tape. Liberals have spent years adding layer after layer, pretending they’re protecting the people when they’re actually protecting their own power.
So here’s the question: Why would anyone oppose shining a light on the criminal code? If liberals actually trusted the American people, they’d be eager to lay every law on the table. But they don’t.
