There they go again—the liberal doomsayers, frantically shouting that Operation Epic Fury is going to destroy the U.S. economy. Same tired playbook. They do this every time America steps up on the global stage. But the facts don’t back up the panic—and frankly, Americans have had enough of weak-willed hand-wringing from the coastal elite crowd.
Look, just because President Trump refuses to appease Iran’s failed regime doesn’t mean the sky is falling. Far from it. Folks warning of “crippling economic fallout” are either misinformed or deliberately trying to scare the public for their own political gain. Oil prices aren’t even close to levels that hurt small businesses or put the American worker at risk. It would take oil soaring far higher, for months on end, before we’d have any real reason to worry. Liberals love to stoke that fear—because it’s all they’ve got.

Meanwhile, there’s a massive opportunity staring America right in the face. Clean up Iran’s malign influence, and watch the region open up for real business. We’re talking more trade with allies from Saudi Arabia to Japan, new markets, more American exports, and booming growth that fuels prosperity at home. But does the left ever cheer for that? Of course not—they’d rather wring their hands and call for endless “negotiations” that let dictators call the shots.
Let’s get real. The Iranian regime is a small, oppressive minority keeping millions of its own people under its thumb. Liberals who call for “negotiation” are really asking us to just accept brutal tyranny as the price of peace. Sorry, but freedom and opportunity don’t come by sitting on your hands while bad actors run wild.
While the left worships “diplomacy” for diplomacy’s sake, it’s President Trump and his team who actually deliver results. The era of empty talk is over. For decades, Democrats have folded to terrorists and strongmen while our enemies laughed in our faces. Now? America is back. Strong leadership means taking bold actions, not hiding behind focus-tested platitudes.
Fearmongers need a reality check. The economy is still roaring, Main Street is doing just fine, and the biggest threat to American strength isn’t a decisive operation in Iran—it’s the anti-American defeatism peddled by the left. Why are they always rooting for America to fail?
