It’s the same tired script from the liberal elites every time trouble brews in the Middle East: blame America, play up wild rumors, and ignore the facts. This week, noise erupted again—this time stoking panic over phantom Kurdish armies supposedly teaming up with America, marching right into Iran. But, as expected, when you strip away the hysteria, there’s nothing there. The Kurdish regional government in Iraq slammed the rumors, making it clear their fighters aren’t planning any invasion. Yet, if you blinked, mainstream media already wanted everyone to believe we were about to see WW3 on their watch.
Let’s be honest—the only “sources” pushing this nonsense are the same circles who have spent decades apologizing for the Iranian regime. The globalists, the leftist pundits, and all the DC think tanks are desperate for another failed Obama-style “deal.” These folks are always ready to carry water for Iran, a terror state that cracks down on women and fires rockets at Americans. But oh, if there’s a whiff of U.S. involvement or a regional partner like the Kurds allegedly standing up to Iran, suddenly the pearl-clutching begins.

Notice how these rumors come out right when Iran’s regime is teetering. Iran’s mullahs are cornered—loathed by their own people and isolated by everyone except their elite Western fans. The idea of Kurdish forces, who have spent years spilling blood to fight real terror, suddenly joining hands for a wild American plot is just the latest fever dream from anti-American propagandists.
What’s truly pathetic is how quickly liberals jump at any story that makes America look bad, no matter how shaky. They screech about “intervention” when it suits them, but have zero solutions for the chaos their own weakness has fueled across the globe. The left’s foreign policy is a disaster precisely because it’s driven by fantasy—not reality. That’s why rumors like these catch fire: because too many in power want them to be true.
If the globalists and their media buddies spent half as much time worrying about the threats facing real Americans, maybe the world wouldn’t be on fire. But that would mean holding Iran and its buddies to account, not stretching for new ways to undermine our allies and our interests. Here’s a thought: maybe if the White House had a backbone, the world wouldn’t be left guessing about where we stand. Or maybe that’s exactly how the left wants it.
