Once again, the Chinese Communist Party shows the world who they really are. Jimmy Lai, a brave pro-democracy activist, just got slapped with a 20-year prison sentence for daring to speak out against tyranny. He’s one man standing up to a regime that crushes freedom. Instead of staying silent, Senator Marco Rubio is calling out China’s cruelty and demanding mercy for Lai. Rubio actually urged the U.S. government to tell China to grant humanitarian parole, something our weak leadership should’ve pushed for long ago.
The radical left and their globalist buddies like to pretend they care about democracy. But where are they now? Silent, as usual, when real heroes get thrown in a dungeon for loving liberty. The same liberals who sob on TV about “threats to democracy” here at home don’t lift a finger when a true freedom fighter gets locked up abroad. They’re more interested in defending Chinese business interests, making millions while human rights vanish in the shadows.

Look at how the Biden administration tiptoes around Communist China. They care more about green energy deals and cozy trade agreements than standing up for basic human decency. Tell the truth: If Jimmy Lai fit their woke narrative, politicians and legacy media would be setting their hair on fire. But because he stands up to Beijing, they can barely muster a word of real outrage.
It’s time to get real. China’s leaders don’t care about fairness, justice, or even basic humanity. They want total control, and anyone—like Jimmy Lai—who rocks the boat just gets crushed. Sadly, the left gives nothing but empty words and weak gestures. They’d rather scold Americans for imagined slights than confront a dangerous dictatorship.
Americans are supposed to lead the fight for freedom. When did we become so scared to call out real evil? Maybe if liberals spent less time worrying about “pronouns” and more time defending free speech worldwide, tyranny wouldn’t spread so easily. Why do Democrats keep excusing our enemies while ignoring the heroes who really pay a price for liberty?
