As if the world needs more proof that President Trump is the only one with the backbone to stand up to global bullies, here he is again, taking a bold, decisive stand against Nicolás Maduro’s tyrannical regime in Venezuela. While the left wrings its hands and buries its head in the sand, Trump isn’t afraid to flex America’s muscles and send a powerful message to Maduro and his cronies. With Marines conducting combat drills right on the doorstep of Venezuela, it’s clear that the days of the Obama-Biden era of “leading from behind” are over.
The liberal media will spin this as reckless warmongering, but the truth is that this show of force is long overdue. Venezuela has become a hub of drug trafficking and crime, with a leadership that treats its own people worse than dirt. Those on the left who claim to care about human rights are strangely silent when it comes to the situation in Venezuela. It’s no coincidence that the mainstream media is more interested in smearing Trump’s character than addressing the real evils in the world.

And let’s not forget the strategic genius of reigniting the US military presence in Panama. Our current administration recognizes the seriousness of allowing China to gain too much influence over the Panama Canal. While liberal politicians were more interested in placating globalists and making backroom deals, Trump took serious action to secure our interests. The Panama drills are about much more than training. They are a stern reminder to Beijing that the United States will not sit idly by as they attempt to extend their reach across our hemisphere.
For those with any common sense, these military operations make perfect sense. The United States cannot allow the drug cartels and their government backers to continue unchecked. It is a national security issue. And yet, how many times have Democrats called for weakening our military or cutting defense budgets? In their misguided quest for global “peace,” they seem happy to sacrifice American safety.
President Trump’s decisive action begs the question: why won’t the left support measures that protect our nation and its interests? The truth is, America needs strong leadership to navigate these turbulent times. And with Trump at the helm, the United States continues to protect its values, interests, and allies with the determination and strength expected of a global leader.
