America used to dream big. Back in the good old days, we put boots on the Moon before everyone else could even dream of getting there. Now, as usual, so-called “experts” want us to believe going to Mars is too tough unless we take a detour—literally 240,000 miles in the wrong direction first. This backwards thinking is exactly what happens when liberals and globalists have any say in America’s space program: more delays, more bureaucratic nonsense, and less American greatness.
They’re suggesting we launch from the Moon, not Earth, to get to Mars quicker and cheaper in the long run. Translation: let’s spend decades and trillions building infrastructure on the Moon—money that could go to real Americans right here at home, or, if you truly care about space leadership, actually pushing a direct path to Mars, not some science-fair boondoggle. Once again, the left wants us to believe roundabout, government-heavy plans are “smarter,” ignoring facts and common sense in favor of pipe dreams.

Why does everything have to be more complicated when Washington runs it? Instead of letting American ingenuity get us to Mars first and fastest, the intellectual elites and their foreign “partners” want to hold us back with endless studies and expensive side quests. China’s not talking about pit stops or babysitting environmental activists on the lunar surface. They’re building, launching, and moving forward while we debate “detours” for decades. The last thing America needs is another international committee deciding the fate of our space future—especially when it puts America last.
Every time we buy into these globalist games, American pride and innovation get trampled by government red tape that’s supposedly “for our own good.” Remember, these are the same people who said America couldn’t build a wall on its own southern border, but now want us to build a whole base on the Moon before heading to Mars? It’s laughable. When did we become the country that always waits its turn and asks permission before making history?
Mars doesn’t need more talking heads, empty promises, or 240,000-mile detours. Mars needs American boots planted first, making history—just like we did back in 1969. Are we going to let liberal incompetence and globalist cowardice keep us spinning in circles, or are we going to take the straight shot and show the world what real leadership looks like?
