Well, buckle up, patriots, because the drama in the GOP just keeps getting juicier! Former Wyoming GOP Rep. Liz Cheney has unleashed some spicy words for House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY), calling her a “total crackpot” in a scathing post on Tuesday. It’s like a reality TV show, but with fewer catfights and more conservative politics.

Well, it all started when reports came out that files related to the Jan. 6 events mysteriously went missing or got encrypted before the Republicans took charge of the House in 2022. That’s when Stefanik went off, slamming the Jan. 6 committee and pointing fingers at Cheney, who was the vice chairwoman of the committee at the time. She called the committee a sham, claiming it illegally deleted records and obstructed justice.
But Cheney wasn’t about to take that lying down. She hit back at Stefanik, pointing to a statement the New York congresswoman made on Jan. 6, 2021, condemning the Capitol riots. She basically called Stefanik out for flip-flopping and demanded an explanation for her change of tune.
This lady went from calling the riots a “truly tragic day for America” to being a die-hard supporter of former President Donald Trump. She even replaced Cheney as conference chairwoman after Cheney voted to impeach Trump for his role in inciting the Capitol riots.
And just when you thought the dust had settled, Stefanik releases a statement calling for transparency and highlighting the lack of security at the Capitol on that fateful day. It’s like she’s trying to cover all her bases and come out smelling like roses.
