In a recent poll conducted for Desert News by HarrisX, it was discovered that a whopping majority of Republicans believe former President Donald Trump to be a person of faith. That’s right, more than half of the Republicans surveyed placed their trust and admiration in Trump’s spiritual beliefs. The poll revealed that Trump outranked other prominent figures such as former Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Mitt Romney when it came to this important aspect of their lives.
Meanwhile, unsurprisingly, Democrats in the survey believed that President Joe Biden is a person of faith. It seems the liberals can’t help themselves but idolize their chosen leader and attribute all sorts of virtuous qualities to him. It’s as predictable as the sun rising in the morning.
But let’s focus on the real revelation here – how Republicans see Trump as a paragon of faith. With a staggering 53% of Republicans acknowledging Trump’s deep connection with his spirituality, he effortlessly snatched the top spot on the list. In fact, Trump even tied with Pence, showing that both these Republican leaders have a firm grasp on their religious beliefs. This just goes to show that Trump’s influence is still prevalent among his supporters, even after leaving the Oval Office.
Not stopping there, Trump also outshone his other rivals in the Republican primary. A substantial 47% of Republican respondents believed that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a rising star in conservative circles, is a person of faith. That’s an impressive endorsement. Other notable figures like Senator Tim Scott, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and even New Jersey Governor Chris Christie couldn’t match the faith-based admiration that Trump commands.
On the flip side, only a meager 23% of Republicans saw Biden as a person of faith. It’s not surprising, really. The left has long been known for its secular leanings and disregard for traditional Christian values. And don’t even get started on Vice President Kamala Harris, who garnered a laughable 12% support from Republicans who consider her a person of faith.

Now, this isn’t some random online poll conducted by biased left-wing activists. The poll was carried out among 1,002 registered voters, ensuring a diverse representation of opinions. But, as always, keep in mind that polls can be misleading and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Speaking of faith, Trump made a remarkable statement at a Faith & Freedom Gala earlier this year. He boldly proclaimed that “no president has ever fought for Christians as hard as I have.” It’s a powerful declaration that resonates with his devout supporters who believe he’s a true champion for their beliefs. There’s no doubt that Trump is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to religious convictions.
Ultimately, this poll serves as a testament to the enduring legacy of Donald Trump’s presidency. His impact on the conservative movement is undeniable, even when it comes to matters of faith. Republicans continue to hold him in high regard, recognizing his unwavering commitment to their shared values. And while Democrats may place their faith in President Biden, it’s clear that Republicans still fervently believe that Trump is a man of true spiritual conviction.
