Maryland’s election system is a disaster waiting to happen, and conservative watchdogs are finally calling it out. The Republican National Committee just took bold action by suing the state over its shameful failure to keep voter rolls clean and honest. This isn’t some trivial bureaucratic snafu—it’s a glaring example of the kind of election chaos Democrats love to ignore because it benefits their power grab.
Here’s the shocking truth: in Maryland, voter registration in several counties exceeds the total number of adult citizens. Yes, you read that right. Some counties claim more registered voters than actual residents old enough to vote, while others boast registration rates above 95%, despite official census data placing the state’s actual registration around 75%. This blatant inflation screams of incompetence at best, and perhaps something far more sinister at worst. Meanwhile, the state’s own audit found thousands of dead voters still “active” on the rolls and hundreds of possible duplicate registrations. If that doesn’t raise alarm bells about the integrity of Maryland’s elections, then what will?

Maryland’s political class has made little serious effort to fix this mess, showing blatant disregard for federal laws meant to keep elections fair. The National Voter Registration Act is being ignored. Even the Department of Justice has had to step in to demand voter lists from a state seemingly allergic to transparency. This isn’t just a failure to follow the law; it’s a betrayal of every honest voter who wants confidence that their vote matters and isn’t drowned out by fraud or error.
This is how Democrats operate when left unchecked: they rig the rules, hide the details, and hope nobody calls them on it. They know sloppy voter rolls multiply the risks of fraud, yet they look the other way because their power depends on every extra questionable vote they can get. Meanwhile, they preach about “voter rights” while actively destroying the foundations of honest elections. Their hypocrisy couldn’t be more blatant or more dangerous.
If Maryland won’t clean house, the RNC’s lawsuit should be a wake-up call for every American who cares about election integrity. We must fight to hold these states accountable or risk watching our democracy decay into a circus of cheating and corruption.
