Maxine Waters is at it again, spinning her latest absurd narrative to blame President Trump for unrest in Los Angeles. According to her, Trump somehow “started” the immigration-related riots—and shockingly, she accuses him of supporting violence. It’s the same tired Democrat playbook: twist facts, ignore reality, and weaponize chaos to attack conservatives. Waters’s claims are pure political theater, designed to distract from the real issues and the catastrophic failures of left-wing leadership in California.
Let’s be clear. The so-called “riots” are the direct result of radical open-border policies, decades of neglect, and soft-on-crime agendas pushed by Democrats like Waters. When you invite lawlessness, you get lawlessness. California’s sanctuary policies have turned parts of Los Angeles into no-go zones where the rule of law is mocked and the innocent suffer. But instead of holding their own party accountable, Democrats point fingers at Trump. Yet anyone paying attention knows that protecting public safety is exactly what Trump should do—especially when local officials refuse to enforce the law. Instead of enabling mob rule, Trump took action to secure neighborhoods that have become battlegrounds. It’s no wonder Waters wants to rewrite the narrative; it exposes how out of touch and helpless Democratic leaders are when faced with real crime and civil unrest.
What’s truly stunning is Waters’s suggestion that Trump led the Capitol riot. This tired lie has now become a lazy excuse to blame him for everything, including problems completely unrelated to January 6. It’s a desperate attempt to politicize tragedy and sabotage any effort to bring law and order. Meanwhile, Waters ignores the destructive role leftist politicians and activists play in fomenting unrest and encouraging illegal activities, often under the guise of “protest.”
The bottom line is America’s cities are burning because radical liberals refuse to stand for law and order. They push open borders and soft policing, then complain when violence erupts.
