The left loves to whine about any action President Trump takes, even when it’s clearly needed. For weeks, Democrats wailed about Trump sending the National Guard to Washington, D.C. Guess what? Now the city’s own liberal mayor, Muriel Bowser, has done an about-face, openly backing the National Guard’s ongoing presence. Talk about Democratic hypocrisy on full display.
Bowser has even gone so far as to create an executive order to collaborate with federal forces. Imagine that. After blaming Trump for every single problem under the sun, Democrats are suddenly seeing the light—or should we say, they’re finally waking up to reality. D.C. was spiraling, and Trump’s emergency action has brought order.
🚨 HOLY CRAP! After a STAGGERING decline in crime, DC Mayor Bowser says she “GREATLY APPRECIATES” President Trump for surging federal agents into the city

With crime out of control in the nation’s capital, Trump’s emergency order provided a lifeline. It’s no wonder Bowser is keen to extend the National Guard’s stay. Even President Trump acknowledged her cooperation. The very fact that a staunchly anti-Trump figure is standing by his policies speaks volumes about the effectiveness of his leadership. The Democrats owe him a big thank you, not their usual vitriol.
Social media buzzed with reactions, and let’s just say they were as stunned as we are. Citizens are rightfully applauding Bowser for putting public safety above partisan squabbles. But here’s a question for all the leftist chorus: why did it take so long for Bowser to see the truth? How many times do we need to prove that conservative measures get results?
From the onset, conservatives knew that law and order should be prioritized. Liberals can continue their love affair with chaos and disorder if they want, but the National Guard’s presence is transforming D.C., and it’s getting harder for them to pretend otherwise.
So, where do we go from here? With crime dropping in D.C., maybe other big-city mayors will follow suit. Crime doesn’t discriminate by political affiliation, and neither should solutions. It’s time Democrats across the nation learn the lesson unfolding under Bowser’s nose: Trump’s tough decisions save cities. Will liberals finally admit they’ve been wrong all along?
