But let’s set the record straight: Seamus didn’t just miss a flight home. He blew past his legal limit by a whopping 16 years. Sixteen! That’s not an “oops.” That’s a slap in the face to every immigrant who actually follows the rules.
It’s amazing how fast the left will leap to defend lawbreakers when it fits their open borders agenda. As soon as news broke about Seamus, there was an outpouring of hand-wringing editorials and crocodile tears from big-city reporters. As usual, they painted President Trump as the villain for simply enforcing the law. They have zero respect for sovereignty or for the millions of immigrants who play by the rules. If this were anyone from a less fashionable background, would the press rally behind him? The hypocrisy is staggering.
