Midwife Slapped with Whopping $300K Fine for Bizarre ‘Miracle Pellet’ Debacle

Amid a series of unexpected developments, a midwife from Long Island has been convicted of falsifying vaccine records and administering homeopathic granules to students in lieu of the correct vaccinations. The New York State Department of Health reports that approximately 1,500 minors throughout the state have had their vaccination records voided as a result of this fraudulent activity. In response, the department has imposed a substantial fine of $300,000.

Jeanette Breen, the alleged midwife, initiated her vaccine program in 2019, a brief time after the state eliminated non-medical exemptions for mandatory school immunizations. Breen offered her patients the "Real Immunity Homeoprophylaxis Program," which she asserted was a legitimate substitute for immunizations. It should be noted, however, that neither state nor federal regulators, including the FDA and CDC, recognize these oral granules.

Breen subsequently documented on the immunization website of the state that the children had been immunized against a variety of maladies. According to State Health Commissioner James McDonald, this misrepresentation of vaccine records endangers lives and undermines the public health system in addition to being unethical.

Breen has remitted $150,000 of the fine that was imposed as a component of the settlement. The balance is currently on hold, contingent upon her adherence to state regulations and abstention from administering any immunizations that are required to be reported. She has also been prohibited from accessing the state's immunization records indefinitely. Before the children are permitted to return to school, they must be completely immunized with age-appropriate immunizations; their previous immunization records have been nullified.

Although Breen's conduct has understandably elicited apprehension, there are individuals who are voicing support for her. To support Breen, Kathleen Shortis, for example, has established a fundraising campaign. Shortis is of the opinion that Breen was merely offering alternative options to families subsequent to the elimination of religious exemptions. Nevertheless, it is critical to acknowledge that Breen's deceitful activities endanger the lives of children and undermine the very system that is intended to safeguard public health.
