Gangs of illegal migrants have been wreaking havoc in West Whiteland Township, Pennsylvania, targeting stores to commit retail theft. It’s like a wild shopping spree, except without paying! According to WPVI 6 ABC, three separate groups of these sneaky illegal immigrants have managed to steal thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise from businesses in the town over the past month. It’s a crime wave, folks!
Detective Scott Pezick from the West Whiteland Township Police Department had some strong words for these criminals. He said, and I quote, “They’re taking advantage of coming to the U.S. and committing these crimes, and being able to disappear to some degree.” Wow, Detective Pezick really knows how to tell it like it is! These illegal migrants are just strolling across the border, snatching stuff, and then vanishing into thin air. It’s like they’re playing hide-and-seek, but with stolen goods.
Let me tell you about one pair of culprits. Two men from Venezuela, Albert Torrealba Jordan and Keiver Guilarte Camps, decided it would be a swell idea to cross into the United States illegally and steal $2,000 worth of products from the Ulta in Exton on Feb. 1. Seriously, guys? You come all the way here just to become professional shoplifters? Talk about setting lofty goals!
But it’s not just these two. Apparently, West Whiteland Township has been invaded by what they’re calling “South American theft groups.” I can’t help but wonder if they have matching team jackets or something. Detective Pezick mentioned that the influx of migrants entering the country illegally has had an impact on their town, even though they’re a whopping 2,000 miles away from the southern border. It’s like these illegal migrants have teleportation powers! They can show up anywhere, anytime.
The audacity of these criminals is mind-boggling. Take, for example, the story of the Peruvian national who stole a whopping $17,000 worth of merchandise from a Kohl’s in June 2023. He was arrested, deported, and probably given a stern talking-to. But guess what? He managed to sneak back into the United States just a few months later! Talk about persistence! I’m sure law-abiding citizens are thrilled to know that our borders are basically revolving doors for criminals.
It’s comforting to hear that federal agencies are lending a helping hand in tracking down these suspects. We need to put a stop to this madness and send a strong message: If you want to shop in America, you do it legally and pay for your items like a responsible citizen. Our stores are not your personal clearance racks, illegal migrants! It’s time to tighten border security, enforce the rule of law, and protect our communities from these brazen acts of theft. Enough is enough!
