Elon Musk, the owner of X, has responded to Joe Biden’s recent claims that “misinformation” is running rampant on his platform with a series of hilarious posts. Biden criticized Musk for supposedly “lowering guardrails to misinformation” on Twitter. However, many argue that Elon had actually exposed misinformation being pushed on Twitter before he took over.
In response to Biden’s remarks, Musk playfully dismissed the President’s concern by simply stating, “Lamooo.” Clearly unfazed by Biden’s accusations, Musk emphasized that the one truly controlling the messaging is the President himself, referring to the teleprompter.
Musk has been actively fighting battles on the platform lately. Last week, he fired the majority of Twitter’s remaining team responsible for maintaining “election integrity,” claiming they were doing the exact opposite. In a response to X News Daily, Musk jokingly pointed out that these individuals were undermining election integrity and, as a result, he had let them go.
Joe Biden blames Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter/X for people not knowing if news they’re getting on the internet is true or not

Additionally, Musk recently threatened to sue the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), an organization known for pushing the platform to crack down on conservative accounts. He accused the ADL of falsely accusing him and X of being anti-Semitic. Musk also alleged that the ADL was trying to “kill this platform” by pressuring Twitter-X to take action against accounts that had nothing to do with anti-Semitism. In response, the ADL did not directly comment on the legal threats but stated that they were unsurprised by the attack and that this type of thing is “nothing new.”
It’s clear that Elon Musk is unafraid to push back against those who criticize him or his platform. Whether it’s addressing accusations of misinformation or standing up for conservative voices, Musk continues to make his mark on Twitter-X.
