The stark reality is that sextortion and online trafficking are lurking dangers that every parent needs to be consciously aware of, regardless of their community’s perceived safety. Ignoring this epidemic is akin to burying one’s head in the sand and hoping the fox doesn’t come sniffing around the chicken coop.
Conservatives are right to emphasize the importance of parental involvement and vigilance in combating this menace. A compelling documentary, “Hiding in Plain Sight: America’s Trafficking Epidemic,” sheds light on this critical issue, offering an unflinching look at the grim dangers that lurk on the internet.
