In a blatant attempt to bury democracy under their manufactured outrage, the NAACP has taken the unprecedented step of snubbing President Trump from its annual convention. Since its founding over a century ago, the NAACP has always invited sitting presidents, no matter their political stripe. Now, suddenly, they’ve decided Trump is the boogeyman who doesn’t deserve an invite. What are they afraid of? Could it be that Trump’s appeal among Black voters is on the rise and they can’t handle the truth?
The NAACP, who loves to preach about being nonpartisan, ironically chooses this moment to toss tradition aside and politicize a long-standing American custom. They spout outlandish accusations, labeling Trump an enemy of democracy while blindly ignoring the historical election debacles orchestrated by Democrats. Need we remind them of the antics pulled by the left during every “coronation” they’ve been a part of?
Also, let’s not forget the irony here: an organization that supposedly advocates for civil rights actively tries to silence a voice that’s gaining ground among African Americans. It’s becoming apparent they would rather adhere to their archaic political loyalties than adapt to the changing political climate. Seems less like it’s about advancing rights and more like playing party politics.

Trump has managed to resonate with younger, Black men despite the relentless smear campaigns carried out by his detractors. He’s brought real issues to the table—issues that matter to middle-class Americans who feel abandoned by liberal elites waving their globalist flags. Yet, the NAACP prefers to ignore these shifts, clinging to a tired narrative.
This refusal to invite Trump reeks of desperation. Is the NAACP shielding their members from a perspective that contrasts their dogma? Or is it simply because Trump, amidst all the noise, stands as a symbol of bold, unflinching truth that sends ripples of fear down the spine of the leftists? It begs the question: Who is really standing in the way of democracy?
