These individuals have adopted a mindset that distorts reality and can justify violence against those who offer dissenting views. They have created a narrative in which anyone who disagrees with them is not merely a political opponent but an outright existential threat. This mentality leads some to rationalize aggressive tactics to silence opposing voices, which is both alarming and dangerous.
Take, for example, the recent actions surrounding Nancy Mace, who advocated for keeping biological men out of women’s restrooms in the Capitol. To any rational observer, her stance is an affirmation of biological truth and a protective measure for women. Yet, for some activists entrenched in their worldview, such a reasonable opinion is perceived as a declaration of war. The fact that Mace’s position does not affect the day-to-day lives of these activists—most of whom do not work in the Capitol—seems lost on them.
