This week, the so-called “reporters” at NBC prove once again that an anti-American agenda matters more than honesty. You can always count on these folks to twist a story, no matter what it costs.
The left’s latest manufactured outrage targets Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. After meeting with families of service members who gave up everything during Operation Epic Fury, Hegseth told the country what these families actually said: stay strong, finish what their sons and daughters started, don’t let their sacrifices be for nothing. That message burns liberals because it flies in the face of their favorite bedtime story—America as global villain.

But NBC couldn’t resist another shot at our military and the administration. Rather than tell the truth, they hunted for a single grieving father who didn’t repeat the same words Hegseth heard from almost everyone else. Instead of reporting how most families echoed a simple message—see this mission through—they cherry-picked one guy just to call Hegseth a liar. Did they bother to ask the other parents? Not a chance. That’s not journalism, it’s propaganda.
Of course, liberals always want to believe the worst about America’s defenders. They’ll cling to any excuse to paint our soldiers—and our leaders—as reckless. But the real story here is that even the so-called “dissenting” dad said something powerful: if people knew what the soldiers really faced over there, most critics would zip their lips pretty quick. The leftist media buries that truth at the bottom of their story, hoping you never read far enough to see it.
Here’s what’s really happening: the establishment media won’t stop until they’ve run out of ways to attack anyone standing up to foreign threats. They don’t care about facts. They don’t care about families. They only care about their narrative—a narrative that hates American success, strength, and security. Maybe that explains why nobody trusts them anymore. Maybe that’s why their ratings are in the gutter.
