New Hampshire Won’t Tolerate Anti-Trump Bias: Another Try Thwarted!

The Democrats’ latest attempt to keep former President Donald Trump off the 2024 presidential ballot just got another slap in the face. New Hampshire, a state that holds the first primary in the Republican nominating calendar, has rejected their efforts. The top election official in New Hampshire, Secretary of State Dave Scanlan, announced that as long as Trump meets the necessary requirements, including submitting his declaration of candidacy and paying the filing fee, his name will appear on the primary ballot.

The Democrats and anti-Trump Republicans have been trying to use Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to disqualify Trump from running for office again. This provision states that individuals involved in rebellions against the United States are prohibited from holding office. However, their argument rests on the claim that Trump inspired the riot at the U.S. Capitol building on January 6, 2021. Republican attorney Bryant “Corky” Messner and lawyer John Anthony Castro filed lawsuits in Colorado and Florida, respectively, with the same goal in mind.

These attempts to block Trump from the ballot are nothing more than partisan politics. It is clear that the Democrats are desperate to prevent the former president from making a comeback and will stop at nothing to achieve that. However, their efforts are failing one state at a time. The secretaries of state across the country are not buying into their narrative. So, it seems like another one bites the dust in the Democrats’ quest to keep Trump out of the White House again. Perhaps they should focus more on their own candidate and less on trying to sabotage Trump’s chances.
