Zambrano-Pacheco wanted for kidnapping, burglary, and gun crimes in Colorado, was apprehended in the Bronx during a targeted raid involving heavily armed agents.
Residents in affected neighborhoods have expressed relief following these enforcement actions. One local described the deteriorating conditions in her building, which had become a hub for illegal squatting and drug abuse.
