The so-called “tolerant” left is at it again—this time, turning their venom on a teenager who’s never even run for office. Over the weekend, when tensions with Iran skyrocketed, a former South Park writer decided to create a website demanding Barron Trump be drafted for war. Yes, that’s right—a grown liberal adult targeting a former President’s teenage son in some twisted attempt at political humor.
This is modern liberalism in action. These people preach about compassion and anti-bullying, but when they see a chance to go after someone with the last name Trump, all bets are off. Most Americans—no matter their politics—would agree that children should be left out of the mudslinging. But not the radical left. When Donald Trump’s family is involved, there’s no line they won’t cross for their cheap laughs and shock value.

Why target Barron Trump? Because the Trump name drives elite liberals insane. They hate anyone who stands up for America’s strength and independence. Instead of debating policy like adults, they resort to dragging minors into the fight. This is the same class of Hollywood elites and media writers who think protecting the country is a joke, who roll their eyes at patriotism, and who love to make everything about the Trumps—even international conflict.
There’s a reason these writers are desperate for clicks and attention: their worldview has failed. The left pushed for weakness on the world stage for eight years before Trump, and now they’re desperate to distract from their own messes by lashing out at the Trump family. If only they put as much energy into protecting our borders or standing up to actual threats like Iran as they do into attacking conservative families.
Liberals claim to be the party of peace and unity, but apparently that doesn’t extend to the children of their political opponents. Picking on a young man to score political points is pathetic, cowardly, and shows just how hollow their moral high ground really is. Maybe instead of obsessing over Barron Trump, these out-of-touch elites should ask themselves why their side keeps losing the trust of everyday Americans.
