CNN is at it again with their latest outrage over a prayer service at the Pentagon. Shocked? Of course not. This time, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is in their crosshairs for daring to host a Christian prayer and worship service. The left-leaning network can’t help themselves from spiraling into panic mode, calling this a “violation” of the First Amendment. But the truth is, America was built on these very values. Prayer and faith are at the heart of our nation’s identity, not threats to it.
Hegseth, who is openly Christian, isn’t breaking any new ground here. The Pentagon, like many other government entities, has long accommodated religious services for its diverse personnel. But that doesn’t matter to CNN. They seem intent on framing this as some sort of scandalous break from tradition. The fact is, holding prayers isn’t the problem. The real issue for leftists is which religion is being represented. If it were any other faith, CNN would probably be heralding it as a win for diversity.
Meanwhile, liberal critics dredge up vague accusations about pressure on service members. Let’s set the record straight: the prayer session was entirely voluntary. But, of course, every move made by a conservative leader must be scrutinized under a microscope. Liberal pundits can’t seem to remember a time when prayer was a key part of military life. Didn’t our troops once receive Bibles signed by President Franklin Roosevelt during World War II? Seems like some people have short memories.
It's good to see that CNN isn't taking long to freak out over the prayer service Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had his pastor host, finding "a national security law expert" to call it a "clear violation" of the Establishment Clause of the First… https://t.co/6IIxGwVsu3 pic.twitter.com/pDirK4czEx

We hear condemnation from a so-called national security expert, who claims the event is an example of illegal religious endorsement. They act as though the Department of Defense simply can’t acknowledge one of the most widely practiced religions in America. Isn’t it telling that the critics seem more concerned about appearance than actual constitutional rights? The left’s anti-Christian bias is showing, folks, and it’s not a good look.
As the Secretary of Defense says, this prayer service is set to be a monthly fixture—a source of steadfast moral support in these challenging times. And no matter how loud the liberals screech, this initiative isn’t going anywhere. Isn’t it refreshing when leaders put principles above politics? Perhaps the real question is: when will self-righteous media outlets like CNN stop attacking the values that make America strong?
