The latest poll numbers have left the liberal media in a tailspin, trying desperately to portray President Trump’s deportation policies as some form of evil. But let’s face it, the majority of Americans aren’t buying that narrative. More than half of the country stands firmly behind Trump’s efforts to deport those who are in this nation illegally. The agenda-driven media and the left-wing cacophony are failing to sway the American spirit.
The poll shows a staggering 54 percent of Americans support deporting illegal immigrants. Even the biased wording of the poll can’t hide this fact. Instead of calling them “illegal aliens,” as they rightfully are, the liberal pollsters use the term “immigrants,” hoping to soften the blow. But the American people are not fooled. They clearly see the difference between lawful immigration and illegal invasion.

What’s even more compelling is that almost 20 percent of Democrats admit to backing these deportations. It’s a tell-tale sign that not everyone on the left has succumbed to the misleading narratives pushed by Hollywood elites, the academic left, or so-called “journalists.” Real Americans want secure borders and an immigration system that respects the rule of law.
Trump’s policy has unwavering support despite the relentless, biased attacks from Democrats and their media allies. A majority recognize that the government is focusing on the right people, those who shouldn’t be here in the first place. Still, there are cries from the liberal corner about the supposed “unfair” nature of these deportations. Are liberals more concerned with the feelings of lawbreakers than the security of their own country?
In the end, the question isn’t whether Trump is right or wrong. He has the support of the American people. The real question is: When will the liberal establishment listen to the voice of America? Who will they choose to prioritize—the illegal immigrant or the law-abiding citizen?
