The political circus has reached new heights, and while progressives think they know what they want, the reality might be hitting them harder than a brick wall. A recent letter penned by Kara Dansky, who proudly labels herself a “lifelong progressive, a radical feminist, and a Democrat,” serves up a heaping helping of frustration directed at none other than Kamala Harris. Dansky believes that Democrats, in their quest to be the champions of every trendy cause, have forgotten about the women and girls they claim to support—how quaint.
In her open letter, Dansky praises Harris for her past feisty moments on issues like abortion rights and her infamous inquisition of Brett Kavanaugh. However, her praise quickly morphs into disillusionment as she chastises the Democratic Party for its embrace of transgender ideology. Apparently, while they were busy outdoing one another in virtue signaling, they failed to notice they were throwing women and girls under the bus in a bid to attract votes from a new demographic. The irony is thick enough to cut with a knife; progressives crying out for women’s rights while happily pandering to an agenda that can redefine who is considered a ‘woman.’
Dansky isn’t alone in her anguish. She reaches out to her fellow Dems who are equally fed up with a party prioritizing the “gender identity” movement over the very essence of womanhood. Her advice? Wake up, Democrats! The new political playbook is not quite “Women in Power” anymore; instead, it’s more like “Anyone Who Feels Like a Woman” gets a pass. Dansky urges Harris to take a stand at the Democratic National Convention and remind everyone that, scientifically speaking, a woman is an adult human female. Logic, it seems, is dead on the liberal left.
Irony abounds as Harris is caught in the crossfire of dissent from both ends of her party. While pro-Palestinian protesters heckle her, claiming she’s not doing enough for Gaza, Harris’s main complaint appears to be their audacity to interrupt her grand performance. It’s truly a sight to behold—a woman trying to cater to activists who can’t seem to make up their minds about what they want, yet they all have one thing in common: a passionate desire to keep the current administration in power, lest they end up with a Trumpian nightmare.

Kara Dansky may not be donning red hats and chanting “Make America Great Again,” but her frustrations showcase a greater trend: even the most loyal leftists are beginning to question the motivations and realities of their party. As the constant juggling act of advocacy continues, one thing is certain—when the masks come off, the political left looks less like a harmonious collective and more like a chaotic assembly of competing interests, all on a quest for self-justification. In a world where reality has taken a backseat to progressive ideals, it’s a wonder there is anyone left on the left willing to make sense of it all.
