Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia went all guns blazing against Dr. Anthony Fauci during his appearance before the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic. She didn’t hold back, no siree! She hit him with questions on everything from experiments on dogs to making kids wear masks in school. She even had the gall to question his “so-called science” – ouch!
Pointing her finger at Fauci, Greene made it crystal clear she wasn’t about to go easy on him. She brought up Fauci’s claim about representing science itself, asking him straightforwardly if he really did. Fauci tried to dodge her question, saying it wasn’t a simple yes or no. But Greene wasn’t having any of it, implying he didn’t even know what he stood for. Burn!

She then moved on to the topic of scientific experiments on dogs, waving images of these experiments in front of Fauci. As a pooch enthusiast, Greene wasn’t pleased with how these animals were being treated. She slammed Fauci for approving such experiments and stressed that taxpayers’ money shouldn’t fund such cruelty. She didn’t mince her words, no sir!
The fiery Congresswoman didn’t stop there. Oh no! She went on to challenge Fauci on his COVID rules like social distancing and mask mandates. Greene alleged that Fauci fabricated these rules and lambasted him for it. She also accused Fauci of allowing NIH scientists to rake in millions from drug companies. She was on fire, grilling Fauci left, right, and center!
Greene even brought up Fauci’s infamous first pitch without a mask at a baseball game, contrasting it with how regular people had to follow strict pandemic rules. She accused Fauci of being hypocritical and negligent, especially regarding children wearing masks in schools. She dug into Fauci’s past statements about masks and children, calling his actions “evil” and demanding he face criminal prosecution. Greene wasn’t holding back one bit!
In her fiery exchange with Fauci, Greene made it clear that she wasn’t about to let him off easy. She was relentless in her criticism, questioning his decisions and holding him accountable for what she deemed as unethical conduct. Greene’s brazen approach in the hearing certainly left an impact, showcasing her unapologetically conservative stance on the pandemic response. Oh boy, it was a showdown for the ages!
