Rep. Turner Criticizes Biden Over Iran Policy, Touts Trump for Stability

Rep. Mike Turner of Ohio is back in the spotlight, taking a swing at President Biden’s mishandling of the situation in the Middle East, particularly concerning Iran’s missile extravaganza aimed at Israel. One has to wonder if Biden even knows that just because a missile misses its mark, it doesn’t mean it was never launched. Turner laid it all out during his recent appearance on Fox Business, ripping into the administration’s logic that downplays Iran’s aggression simply because their missiles are landing in unintended places.

More than a year has zoomed by since Hamas kicked off its attack on Israel, and what does the Biden administration do? It tries to balance the tightrope of supporting Israel while inexplicably calling for a ceasefire that seems designed more for media narratives than for actual peace. Turner is not buying it, suggesting that Biden’s “regional conflict” approach is more about wishful thinking than reality. Meanwhile, Iran keeps launching missiles as if they are participating in a bizarre dart game, and the administration acts like it’s all just a misunderstanding.

According to Turner, these “regional misunderstandings” are not only a gross misrepresentation of the situation but also a dangerous miscalculation. He argues that Israel is simply doing what any nation would do in its shoes: defending itself from direct attacks and invasion from various Iranian proxies. It’s a classic case of shooting the messenger while ignoring the shooter.

Interestingly enough, Turner also pointed out that none of this chaos would be happening if Trump were still president. He indicated that under Trump’s leadership, there would have been more stability and fewer fireworks—literally. His bold prediction? If Trump wins the presidency again in November, he believes there will be “real and significant consequences” that would bring this whole conflict to a halt. Nothing like some good old-fashioned Trumpian decisiveness to whip the world back into line!

The political theater doesn’t stop there. Both Trump and Kamala Harris had a rendezvous with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier this summer, but the contrast is glaring. While Harris went through the motions of meeting with the PM, many of her Senate colleagues chose to boycott Netanyahu’s Congress address as if showing up in person might grant him too much legitimacy. The current landscape showcases a stark divide—one where a tough stance against aggression meets a reluctance to confront the very real threats to Israel’s existence head-on.
