There’s a reason Americans are fed up with political correctness: It hides the ugly truth. Secretary of State Marco Rubio finally had the backbone to say what the left has spent decades denying. He laid it out plainly—Islam, at its core, isn’t about peaceful coexistence. It’s about expansion. Growth. Dominance. And if that makes liberal elites uncomfortable, maybe they should stop coddling dangerous ideologies.
We’ve all seen how the left scrambles to defend Islam, treating any honest criticism as “Islamophobia.” But let’s cut through the nonsense. Rubio spelled out what many of us already know: there’s a doctrine rooted in open hostility toward America and our values. The same values liberals claim to cherish—free speech, tolerance, women’s rights—are ignored as soon as they get in the way of their globalist, multicultural agenda.

While progressives bend over backwards to pretend Islam is “just another religion,” Americans are left wondering why one faith gets special treatment, no matter how often its radical side shows itself. They love to tear down Christianity and patriotism, but when it comes to Islam, not a peep. Where’s the outrage over actual oppression and intolerance in Islamic regimes? The silence from Democrats and the mainstream media is deafening.
Of course, when someone like Rubio speaks the truth, the left loses their minds. His comments weren’t hate—they were honesty. Americans deserve leaders who stop tiptoeing around the facts to avoid hurt feelings. The safety and security of this nation should come first, not the approval of woke mobs or global bureaucrats.
The lesson here? America needs leaders willing to call out real threats—even when it’s unpopular. Liberals would rather keep their heads in the sand. But the stakes are too high for cowardice. If the left keeps burying the truth about hostile doctrines, how long before our country pays the price?
