The Wisconsin museum is stirring up controversy once more after featuring some eyebrow-raising Christmas trees at its annual Christmas tree festival. Of the 66 trees on display at the National Railroad Museum, the trees from the Satanic Temple of Wisconsin and the Bay Area Council on Gender Diversity are causing quite the stir.

The Satanic Temple’s tree is decked out with red lighting, pentagrams, and an ornament that says “Hail Santa,” which seems like a twisted take on “Hail Satan.” Meanwhile, the Gender Diversity tree includes pink and blue trans flags and ornaments advocating for the protection of trans kids.
Many local residents and conservative activists have expressed their outrage over the presence of these non-traditional trees at a family-friendly event. One grassroots organization executive took to social media to slam the museum for featuring a Satanic worship tree, and others questioned why Wisconsin, once known for its wholesomeness and safety, now resembles “Commiefornia.”
Even a local Christian pastor weighed in, questioning the museum’s decision to include these trees and the so-called “inclusivity” and “teaching opportunity” they supposedly offer. He expressed disappointment at the perceived pushback Christians receive when it comes to the First Amendment, while groups like the Satanic Temple and Gender Diversity are given a platform at a Christmas event.
Despite the backlash, some individuals have applauded the museum for showcasing diverse viewpoints, including Satanism. However, the pastor emphasized that Christians need to stand up for their faith and values, and he referenced a quote from C.S. Lewis about the battle between God and Satan for every inch of the universe.
