Chuck Schumer has resorted to desperate tactics digging up a long-forgotten rule from 1928 to squeeze information about the late Jeffrey Epstein from the Trump administration. But let’s be real, it’s not about seeking justice. It’s a classic case of political theater designed to try and smear Trump, America’s favorite conservative hero.
Schumer, who’s been feeding at the taxpayer trough longer than most of us have been alive, is now acting like he’s got some righteous mission. But he’s just putting on a show to keep liberal talking points in the headlines. What’s even more laughable is his timing. Where was all this energy during the Biden administration when Schumer himself was Senate majority leader? They had every chance to act then, and they blew it.
Why is he bringing up Epstein now? Plain and simple, the Democrats can’t stomach the fact that Trump has consistently beaten them in every meaningful way. They can’t handle his successes in boosting the economy, securing the border, and putting America first on the world stage. They need a distraction, and what better name to toss into the ring than Epstein’s, hoping it clouds Trump’s achievements.

Schumer plays the tired game of political stunts, feigning surprise that he’s accused of grandstanding. Despite knowing there’s no real teeth to this law, he wants to pressure the DOJ just to keep the cameras rolling. He’s relying on his cozy pals in the media to shield him from hard questions about why his own party sat on their hands when they had the power to act.
It’s time for Schumer and his ilk to admit they’re out of touch and out of time. They keep recycling the same tired schemes. How much longer can Schumer keep up this charade before Americans see through his transparent ploys? The real question is, does he even care, as long as the spotlight is on him?
