Senator Jim Banks just laid bare the true colors of Rep. Don Bacon—and it’s not a pretty picture for conservatives hoping to see guts and loyalty in Washington. Bacon, supposedly a Republican from a state that proudly supports President Trump, is acting more like a squishy RINO catering to left-wing agitprop than a defender of America First values. While Banks is fighting tooth and nail to purge toxic diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs rooted in Marxist Critical Race Theory from our military, Bacon has repeatedly sided with Democrats to keep these ideological poison pills alive and thriving.
This isn’t a case of innocent disagreement. Bacon was reportedly the crucial vote that killed two GOP efforts to finally get DEI training out of the armed forces, siding with Democrats to preserve woke indoctrination in uniform. Imagine that—right-wingers finally pushing back against cultural Marxism, only to be stabbed in the back by their own party members! No wonder the left laughs every time Washington talks unity when swamp creatures like Bacon are feeding them ammunition. His so-called moderate stance is just a cover for undermining Trump’s America First defense agenda every step of the way.
When the establishment media launched phony attacks on Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Bacon saw his chance to join the mob and pile on. Even though Hegseth is implementing the Trump-backed reforms the Pentagon desperately needs, Bacon chose to play along with the narrative that a classified information leak in a private chat justified firing him. Here’s the kicker: Bacon openly admitted he wouldn’t hesitate to fire Hegseth if he could, though he dances around telling Trump to pull the trigger. It’s classic RINO cowardice—toe the line of the media talking points without real leadership.

Banks wasn’t having any of it and pointed out that Bacon has no standing to criticize true patriots when he himself has helped keep Marxist DEI policies entrenched in the military. The “smoke” coming out of the Pentagon that Bacon laments? That smoke is the system of woke ideological warfare these so-called moderates protect. They’d rather see their military cultural battleground remain hollowed out by identity politics than stand firm with Trump’s proven approach to rebuilding strength and morale.
Ultimately, Bacon reveals the sad truth about many in the “Republican” party: they’re willing to cozy up with the media and Democrats rather than fight for real conservative change. They want to have it both ways—claim loyalty to Trump voters while quietly derailing the agenda behind closed doors. But the American people aren’t stupid. If you’re voting for “moderate Republicans” like Bacon, you’re voting for the left’s long game to destroy our military’s soul. America deserves better than sellouts hidden in GOP clothing. When will we finally say enough to these backstabbers and demand warriors, not fence-sitters, lead the fight?
