Stephen King should be writing horror stories, not spreading fear based on twisted narratives. This time, the so-called master of horror made a shameful blunder attacking Charlie Kirk, a man who championed Christian values. Kirk, who was known for quoting biblical texts and espousing his rich belief in Christianity, was wrongfully accused by King. King claimed Kirk promoted violence against the LGBT community. But these were nothing more than wild fantasies spun from a misunderstanding, topped with a hefty dose of liberal hysterics.
It’s hardly a surprise that King would go for Kirk. Kirk stood strong for traditional values, which made him an obvious target for many liberals who can’t tolerate differing opinions. King, who’s no stranger to mixing fiction with reality, demonstrated everything wrong with the left today — rash assumptions without facts and the toxicity of political discourse. He accused without evidence. When faced with backlash — not because what he said was factual but because it was pure fabrication — he had to apologize.

This misstep by King isn’t harmless at all. Such irresponsible behavior by high-profile figures like him can cause real-world harm, fueling division and potentially even violence. But King’s careless rhetoric fits right in with the left’s playbook: create a narrative, stir up emotions, and damn the truth. It’s always easier to demonize than it is to debate, isn’t it?
Remember where King stands too. He’s been against anything resembling conservative or traditional American values for years. From his vocal disdain for President Trump in 2016 to his constant ramblings on stronger gun control laws and LGBT rights, King has been a poster child for leftist activism. Throwing a baseless claim like this out there is just another play from the same old game plan — sow discord to get rid of people you don’t like.
When will the liberal media learn that this isn’t a game? Narratives like these aren’t just stories or fiction; they have real-world consequences. The left continues to ignore or twist the truth. When even the loudest voices have no ground to stand on, they crumble. Now, who will be the next target in their fiction-based witch hunt?
