Once again, private American grit rockets past government mediocrity. SpaceX did what so many doubted and so many politicians only talk about: they launched a new crew on an eight-month trip to the International Space Station. While the left obsesses over sending tax dollars to pet projects and failed “green” experiments, it’s actual innovators—led by Americans who believe in free markets and hard work—who keep pushing us higher.
Let’s be honest: SpaceX shows what free enterprise does best. While NASA limped under Obama-era budget cuts and academic bureaucracy, Elon Musk’s team kept building, risking, and reaching for the stars. This isn’t globalism or socialism at work—this is American know-how. Some out there want us to look to Europe or beg for China’s approval. Not SpaceX. Their Falcon 9 headed for the stars on American engines, not foreign hand-me-downs.

What do the liberals offer in response? They whine about “equity” and “representation,” demand more diversity committees, and want more government control. But try as they might, they can’t control ingenuity. Americans are tired of being told our best days are over or that only Washington experts know how to run things. SpaceX is proof that individuals—not bureaucrats—drive meaningful progress.
And let’s not overlook the hypocrisy from the global elite. They’ll cheer anything that sounds “inclusive” as long as taxpayers foot the bill, but when American companies succeed, they clutch their pearls and start ranting about oversight and regulation. The same globalists who look down on the American flag now depend on American rockets to reach the ISS. Imagine the panic in their boardrooms every time SpaceX outshines their socialist buddies.
Saturday’s launch didn’t just send a crew into orbit. It blasted the old narrative to pieces. America can still build, lead, and inspire—and no, we don’t need permission from Brussels, Beijing, or any Ivy League think tank to do it. Maybe it’s time for the politicians to stop standing in the way, get out of Silicon Valley’s pockets, and let American greatness take off again. Or are they just terrified of what real freedom looks like?
