To add a cherry on top of this immigration sundae, the Biden-Harris Administration has granted Temporary Protected Status to these Haitian migrants, allowing them legal rights and work permits—all courtesy of American taxpayers. It’s as if the government is handing out VIP passes for people to settle in Springfield without considering the local community’s input or capacity. With this track record of creating more problems than solutions, one has to wonder how much longer residents of Springfield can endure the fallout from federal policy decisions that seem more aimed at expanding a social program than actually caring for American citizens.
