State Dept Staffers Rebel Against Biden’s Pro-Israel Stance

Over 100 State Department and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) staffers are making a ruckus, claiming that President Joe Biden is spreading fake news about the Israel-Hamas conflict. Geez, talk about drama! These folks organized a memo to call out the President for having the audacity to support Israel’s right to defend itself against those pesky Hamas attacks. Can you believe it?

This memo, put together by a junior State Department diplomat who just can’t keep his opinions to himself on social media, is causing quite a stir. The folks over at Axios got the scoop on this internal rebellion, and it’s definitely not a good look for the Biden administration. The memo doesn’t even bother pointing out the so-called “misinformation,” but it sure does imply that Biden has his head in the clouds when it comes to the Middle East.

In this memo, the staffers are all in a tizzy about the situation in Gaza and how the Biden administration is handling things. They’ve got a bone to pick with Israel, accusing them of all sorts of shenanigans like cutting off electricity, limiting aid, and oh yeah, displacing hundreds of thousands of Palestinians. They’re even throwing around words like “war crimes” and “crimes against humanity.” Can you believe the nerve of these folks?

The memo also takes a whack at the administration for not rethinking their stance on Israel and for giving them military assistance without any clear redlines. They’re not holding back, y’all. They’re practically accusing the White House and the National Security Council of not giving a hoot about Palestinian lives and not having a clue about what they’re doing. Ouch!

And get this – these State Department folks want the U.S. government to totally switch gears on how they deal with Israel and start advocating for hostages held by both Israel and Hamas. They’re not pulling any punches, are they? To top it all off, they’re giving Biden an earful for questioning the reported death toll in Gaza. This memo is hotter than a fresh batch of cookies out the oven!

Now, hold onto your cowboy hats, because the House went and approved a $14.3 billion aid package for Israel. Two Republicans had the guts to vote no, and a dozen Democrats teamed up with the Republicans to give it a thumbs up. And guess what? The Republicans want to snatch that money from the IRS piggy bank under Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act. That’s some bold move right there.

The Republicans are all fired up about standing by Israel and making good on a promise to their GOP pals. Republican Policy Committee Chairman Gary Palmer is making the rounds, saying Israel has every right to defend itself from those pesky attacks. You tell ’em, Gary!

But hold on a minute – the Biden gang is calling on lawmakers to pass this humongous $100 billion aid package, which includes a cool $60 million for Ukraine. They’re trying to tie the funding for both Israel and Ukraine together. Give me a break! Then, the House Republicans come swooping in wanting more oversight and a solid game plan before they sign off on giving more cash to Ukraine. They’re not going to let the Biden crew have all the fun, are they?

And just when you thought things couldn’t get wilder, Biden is waving the veto flag, saying he’ll nix any standalone funding for Israel if it lands on his desk. Oh boy, someone get the popcorn because this show is far from over!
