The liberal elites strike again, folks! It’s been revealed that a whopping $1.89 billion of federal tax dollars has been funneled into the coffers of abortion advocacy groups from 2019 to 2021. Can you believe it? Senator Marsha Blackburn and Representative Chris Smith, who clearly have their heads screwed on right, commissioned a GAO report that uncovered this disturbing fact and released it for all to see.

Planned Parenthood and its cronies are the biggest winners here, raking in a staggering $1.78 billion, while international pro-abortion groups like International Planned Parenthood Federation and MSI Reproductive Choices managed to grab $2.03 million and $1.35 million, respectively. It’s almost like they’re rolling in dough while hardworking Americans foot the bill. And to add insult to injury, this is all happening despite the fact that 60 percent of Americans are against using their hard-earned money to pay for abortions, especially outside the country.
But wait, it gets even worse! During the COVID-19 pandemic, Planned Parenthood shamelessly pocketed a cool $90.4 million in forgiven Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans. Can you believe the audacity? While small businesses were struggling to stay afloat, Planned Parenthood was enriching itself with taxpayer dollars meant for struggling mom and pop shops. It’s a disgrace, plain and simple.
And here’s the kicker – Planned Parenthood could have kept receiving Title X funding if it had simply agreed to stop performing abortions. But no, they were so hellbent on pushing their abortion agenda that they refused to comply and forfeited the funding. It’s clear where their priorities lie, and it’s certainly not with women’s health or the well-being of the nation.
With a new administration in town, the Biden administration has rescinded policies that aimed to protect life in global health assistance, essentially making it easier for these abortion advocacy groups to line their pockets with federal money. It’s a slap in the face to every hardworking American who believes in the sanctity of life and responsible spending of taxpayer dollars.
The liberal left and their buddies in the abortion industry are clearly having a field day at the expense of everyday Americans, and it’s high time we put a stop to this madness. Senator Marsha Blackburn and Representative Chris Smith are leading the charge, standing up for the unborn and demanding an end to taxpayer-funded support for the abortion industry. It’s time to hold these groups accountable and put an end to their shameless profiteering at the expense of innocent lives.
